| Securing
windows can be a tricky business. If the window will open, then a
glass break detector alone is inadequate. If a glass break detector
alone is installed, you can arm the system with a window wide open.
If you want to be able to open the window when the system is armed, a
contact (switch) is ineffective. Many companies install both devices
to protect a single window.
Guard Tronic is one of only a few alarm companies in the country that will custom build a security screen. We will either use your existing window frames, or custom build our own, and install a lined mesh and a contact. If the screen material is cut, the alarm will trip. If the frame is remove from the window jam, the alarm will trip. The frame comes in a variety of colors and looks as natural as the original screen. |
